New face on the board

Learning and development manager for Siemens Power Generation, Martin Hottass, has been welcomed to the board.

Martin is a member of both the Chartered Management Institute and the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Boosting skills for the future

A cash boost has been given to Future Skills Training to help them fund a programme to train and support young people who are not in education, employment or training.

The Battersea-based charity has had the backing of the Links Foundation to help them equip disadvantaged young people with new skills. Funding went towards the cost of a tutor who offers one-to-one sessions in numeracy, literacy and ICT enabling the young people to improve their skills and gain recognised qualifications.
