Evaluation
To allow us to review your project, we may ask you to demonstrate what progress you are making. And show what benefits you are bringing to the local community. To help you prepare for this we ask all projects to carry out some form of evaluation. This could include feedback, questionnaires, discussion groups or even completing our update pack.
On the application form please tell us how you would like to evaluate your project. As a guide this could include:
Effective evaluation solutions
In all cases we would require organisations that we fund to carry out effective, clear and focussed evaluations on projects. We would typically ask you to complete two of our evaluation forms, one at six months and one at the end of the project.
For the purposes of completing your application form we need you to demonstrate what measures and activities you will undertake to evaluate your project effectively.
What systems do you envisage using to evaluate your project? Are you able to use a range of different methods (ie IT based statistics, beneficiary questionnaires etc)? Will you be using an external provider to carry out an evaluation? How will you ensure your information is accurate, effective and up to date? At what frequency will you be looking to conduct an evaluation?
This may not be relevant to all projects. The Board, however, would like to see that each aspect has been considered.
