Application guidelines

These notes aim to help you complete your application. They are not exhaustive. But they may help you understand what the Board of Trustees are looking for. Before you start to write your application please bear in mind the following points:
  • We are not looking for complicated applications but ones that are clear and easy to read. Avoid using jargon. Explain your project in layman terms.
  • We assist organisations who work closely within their communities. Make sure your application shows the impact your project has on the community.
  • Where you are using statistics to make a point, please make sure that it is relevant.
  • The Links Foundation reviews a large number of applications. To make yours stand out please be as engaging, creative and innovative as possible.
