Julia Cain
Job title: Project Manager
Julia is the Community Partnership Manager for Working Links in North Wales. Part of her role is to work
alongside communities and she understands the obstacles
that communities often face in trying to obtain funding.
She appreciates that many community focussed people endure difficult battles trying
to bring hope to the lives of people they care about, simply because
there is no suitable funding. This is where she believes the Links Foundation comes in. With
its minimal red-tape and bureaucracy, it
can provide the help many organisations require.
Her role as Community Partnership Manager brings her into contact with many small
organisations and she has developed strong enduring relationships. They have provided her with inspiration, she says, to play a constructive role
in showcasing their needs and ideas to the Foundation.
Julia is passionate about her partnership role and firmly believes in the work that
the Foundation does.
