Job title: Personal Consultant
I have been in Working Links for six and a half years as a frontline consultant.
In that time I have worked with some of the most disadvantaged clients through the
WIN Project and in some of the most deprived areas. I have seen some very difficult
cases of hardship and deprivation throughout this time.
I have worked as a volunteer with homeless people in London and have also done paid
work with the homeless. I have also worked in social care for clients with mental
health issues.
I have done a great deal of charity work, including Amnesty International, Oxfam,
famine relief etc. I am willing to devote my time to good causes without payment
as I feel lucky to have had the chances I have had that others have not. I have
experience of multi agency working with various charity organisations in order to
work towards a common purpose. This involved dealing with local authorities to organise
charity events involving all aspects of health and safety, funding and publicity.
This work was unpaid.
I work as a homeopath (alternative health practitioner) and have worked with the
clients including drug users in the East End of Glasgow using this.
I believe everyone should be given an equal chance. We all have something to offer
and all have some sort of potential. I work as a homeopath (alternative health practitioner)
and have worked with the clients including drug users in the East End of Glasgow
using this.
